Anytime you have unprotected sexual intercourse there is a risk of pregnancy. The withdrawal method you used is only about 70% effective at preventing pregnancy every time. If you are continuing to be sexually active with your girlfriend, you may want to start using more reliable birth control like condoms, spermicide, or birth control pills. If you are really concerned about pregnancy you may even want to use 2 methods.
