Thank you for your help; I would like to clarify a few things: I do already experience irregular periods, the cycle length changes from month to month. Lately they have been arriving either within the 2 weeks following the previous end date or sometimes just under a week prior. I was supposed to get this month's period between the 7th and the end of this week, I think. Does this mean I should *expect* a period that is a week late, assuming I am to have one? If it doesn't come about in the next 7 days or so, when is the earliest I could take a pregnancy test or have a blood test done?
