OMG. Ladies, I have had this exact same problem, as well! Within the first WEEK of having the Mirena IUD inserted, my sex drive came to a complete halt... I had it in for over a year, thinking I was under stress, since my doctor did everything but blame the Mirena... He prescribed me zoloft anti depressant & referred me to a THERAPIST because he thought "the issue seemed to be mental"... well 6 months through that, and I decided to have the Mirena removed because the loss of sex drive side effect started to appear in a few places online... I thought having the mirena removed would fix EVERYTHING. well... apparently it did some sort of nerve damage because I have had it out for over 6 months, and STILL feel like I don't even want to be in the same room with my husband, of whom I am very attracted to and love beyond any doubt. We fight constantly and have only had sex ONCE this year. I'm off the zoloft, and everything but the sex drive NEVER came back and I feel like my whole adult life is RUINED & I don't want my marriage to end because I cannot get "in the mood" :((( someone please give us some hope or something! This is a miserable way to live :(
