My sex drive has also disappeared since I got the Mirena last year. And no, there is no other "possible reason". Going to have it removed in the very near future. I regret having to have it removed as I like havingno periods and apart from mood swings in the beginning (which have now gone) I have had no other side effects - but quite honestly, a normal sex drive is more important than a couple of months without a period.
