As stated above, there really is not "safe time" to have unprotected sex, because a woman's body can be unpredictable even if you think your cycle is pretty consistent. If you truly don't want to become pregnant, you should use protection every time you have sex, just to be on the safe side, and to alleviate any concerns over unwanted pregnancy.
