Thanks for your question. You should be fine. I'm not a doctor, or nurse, but I can definitely advocate for you on this one. You can trust the information insert that came with your pills. If you miss one pill and make it up, you're probably OK. Generally speaking, if you take a pregnancy test the day you're supposed to get your period, it may be a little too soon. The results still can be accurate, but it will be even more accurate a week after a missed period. The test is detecting pregnancy hormone. When you initially miss your period, it may not be increased enough (if you were pregnant) in your system to give a good reading on the test. Hope that makes sense. If you ever forget to take your pill, it's not a bad idea to use a backup method or abstain until you can get back on track with your pills.
