Hi Anonymous,
Missing so many pills does put you at an elevated risk for unwanted pregnancy. You may want to call your doctor. Most birth control pill inserts say that you should throw away your pack and start a new one immediately. Your doctor also can corroborate this--it may we worth a call to discuss it with the nurse. They also may suggest taking PlanB if it still is within 48 hrs. of unprotected sex. If you are forgetting to take your pill regularly, you may want to get in the habit of using a back up method and/or switch to a different method that will be easier for you to remember. It may help you to remember to take your pill if you associate it with something you do every day at about the same time (ex., brushing your teeth).
