I had my abdominal hysterectomy back in November of 2006 due to a 19 cm fibroid. I had one ovary removed as well,
since it had a cyst. My recovery was non-eventful and I have had no short or long term issues. My sex life is better than ever
and it's a joy not to have a monthly period.
