Sad to say that 2 years later (September 24, 2009) I still suffer the effects of my LAST flu shot. I am mostly recovered but the nerve damage appears to be permanant. As I mentioned a couple of years ago, I am not the only one to suffer this injury..a male lab compounding technician met the same fate. It would be nice to be able to lay the blame on the way the shot was administered..but that would not be true. It was the vaccine. I have had everything from physical therapy to steriod injections. I benefited most from the physical therapy. The important thing...is to seek medical attention immediately. Waiting can be your worst mistake. I know that I wish I had sought help sooner, but I waited several weeks. BIG mistake.
