I had my flu shot (first ever) nearly 3 weeks ago. The shot was administered just a couple inches below my rotator cup. When the injection was being pushed into the site, I had a sharp/numbing pain in my shoulder. I am still feeling this pain today when I use my left arm to lift or move objects. It is also affecting my sleep, as I cannot even pull up the covers with my left arm without awakening in pain! I also struggle to help my kids get dressed....just the action of pulling up their pants is painful. I'm just trying to figure out if there's some sort of damage I should be aware of from this injection and what I can do to stop the pain. I'll be calling my doctor tomorrow.
