I have read elsewhere that it is considered a disability and there are statistics related to the condition IC which I believe would also pertain to Trig. which include that the pain and suffering is found equivalent to cancer patients. That being said I would apply for disability for yourself and see how that goes. Do try the baking soda tums trick posted here a while back too.... it works well for fast relief.
