Boy, is your story similar to mine. IC, VVS, IBS...and I want to go abroad for a year too! :) But I'm terrified that I can't because I'm so sick. These last few weeks my IC has been out of control. I don't know what's happening.
I recently went off birth control pills after taking them for, gee, at least five years. I've only had one period since. I'm having an insane amount of discharge, but no period. I'm guessing my hormones are totally out of whack, but I don't know what to do. Where do I start? I feel lost.
My doctor gave me an estrogen cream which actually seems to be helping my VVS, but like I said earlier, my IC is horrific right now. I'm pretty depressed. I'm 20, and I've never even kissed a guy, much less had sex. The doctor can't even do a q-tip swab on me because it hurts so bad. So sex would be impossible. And what guy will touch me if I can't have sex?
