Hello, Anon, Thank you for posting.
A patellar fracture is a break in the patella, or kneecap, the small bone that sits at the front of your knee.
You may have patellar fracture if:
You have pain when your knee is touched or when you move your leg.
You have swelling and bruising around your knee.
You are able to straighten your leg but you cannot bend it.
You cannot stand up or put weight on your injured leg.
If you were assaulted, it should be reported and medical attention sought.
I hope you will do both.
Helena
