Hello, Anon. Thank you for writing.
It is possible. Generally speaking, the most common causes of left (lower) back pain are soft tissue damage of muscles or ligaments that support the spine, injury to the spinal collum, or a condition involving internal organs such as kidneys, intestines, or reproductive organs (in women). Given your history, and since the pain is severe, a doctor's evaluation is needed.
Keep us updated.
