If you’re jingling your way through the holidays with cocktails at many stops, chances are you’re packing on some extra calories.

Alcoholic beverages may be festive, but there are other drinks that can be just as much fun. Here are some of my favorite original holiday mocktails.

Cherry Berry Jingle

3-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
1 ounce of fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1 ounce of fresh-squeezed lime juice
12 cherries pitted
1 cup of white grape juice
1 cup of sparkling water
1 cup of all natural lemon/lime soda
12 frozen strawberries

Muddle ginger, cherries, lemon and lime juice together in cocktail shaker. Add ice and juice and shake.
Pour into a pitcher then add frozen strawberries, followed by sparkling water and soda.

Coco-mint Daiquiri

6 mint leaves
6 cups chocolate almond milk

Place all ingredients in blender with one cup of ice and puree until smooth.
Garnish with a chocolate mint candy cane.
Serves 6.

Cashew Pecan Nog

½ gallon of unsweetened cashew milk
¼ cup of ice
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 tbsp. of agave nectar
6 pecans

Mix milk, vanilla, pecans, agave and ice in blender.
Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Serves 8.

Toffee Toddy

1 cup of almond milk
2 tbsp. of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp. of natural honey
½ tsp. of butter

Boil almond milk, stirring frequently. Add butter. Mix cocoa powder.
Add honey and stir until dissolved .

Berries in the Snow

½ cup of raspberries
½ packet of strawberry gelatin mix
6 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Place all ingredients in blender with one cup of ice. Puree until smooth.
Serves 6.
