It may be well-known that the number one killer is heart and circulatory disease, more than all cancers put together. A recent USA Today online article cited that "roughly 2,200 Americans every day die from heart related illness— an average of one every 39 seconds."

Do you know the signs of heart disease? Do you know it can be different for men and women? We think a heart attack is a magnificent pain in the upper-left chest, that may radiate down the left arm. Most women may not have symptoms like that, and often may discount real heart attack symptoms as fatigue, or general malaise.

A woman may have heart attack symptoms such as stomach, back, jaw or neck pain, trouble breathing, nausea, or overwhelming fatigue. It is important that if you experience similar symptoms (particularly if having a few of these at once), get to the emergency room to have it checked.
