My friend Missy was with me over the Fourth and was telling me about a new program she's trying for hypothyroidism.
The website is http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com/
Anyone heard of Wilson's Syndrome?
I suffer from Hypothyroidism and my body temperature is always low.
How about you? Do you have a thyroid issue and find that you're hands and feet are cold all the time??
The site addresses Hyperthyroidism as well.
I'm not saying the site is good or bad, it's just another option you might want to look at. My girlfriend is pretty high on it.

Michelle

Michelle,
I've heard of it too. My sister found out about it through a friend. She did some research and there is some controversy about it. you should know that. But my sister went ahead, found a naturopath who knew about it.
The treatment really worked for my sister. It didn't change all the symptoms she had, but it did change a quite a few. Some, like dry eyes simply disappeared after being a problem for her for maybe 20 years, since the birth of her youngest daughter.. Her insomnia got much better, so did fluid retention. On the other hand it didn't change the problem she's had for a long time with constipation. It was on the list of possible symptoms of the Wilson's Syndrome, but it didn't change.
So, it doesn't seem to necessarily be a miracle cure, but then again my sister, Diane, is really happy she heard about it and found someone who knew how to diagnose and treat it.
Just to let you know. My doctor said it was a bunch of bunk. I did some Internet searching and certainly saw some of the controversy my sister said i would find. Like the American Thyroid Association says the same thing my doctor said. But on the other side of the coin, I found (not easily) this website that responds back to the Thyroid Association. It was really helpful to see that's there's another side. The website is www.wilsonssyndrome2.com

I found a great cure for constipation and chances are you won't ever get it again.
To begin, get a small bottle of Miralax and mix it with 64 oz of water and drink that all within 4 hours. Once your body is cleaned out, start the next morning with 2/3 cups of Kellogs All Bran Bran Buds...the Bran Buds is the key. I throw it on top my oatmeal or mix it with Cottage cheese ---- the key is to eat 2/3 cup of Bran Buds every day and it does not matter if you want to eat them all at one time - I eat mine in the morning for breakfast with 1/4 cup cottage cheese and mixed fruit - like strawberries, blueberries and banana. But if you cannot do it all at one time - sprinkle it on salad, or mix it in your foods throughout the day or eat it as a snack until you have eaten 2/3 cup each day. I promise you will be regular and never have constipation again. I started this about a year ago and I would go days upon days without going to the bathroom - I am regular now and have not had constipation in over a year :0) Hope this helps your sister.

It is called Thyroid Support by Professional Solutions. Since I have been taking it, I have also noticed my hair doesn't fall out out in clumps like it used to!

Hi Joanna, Thanks for the quick reply.
What kind of thyroid supplement are you taking? Sounds like it's working for you.

Hi Michelle. I have looked into Wilson's Syndrome before. It is very controversial & some believe there is no such thing as this syndrome. I personally am a believer. My basal body temperature was low when I took it. Since I have been taking a thyroid supplement, I am not cold all the time like I used to be.
