On Sunday Nov. 16th in New York, more than 350 brain tumor patients and family members will be attending, along with medical experts, a day of awareness about brain tumors and the importance of early detection.
The 7th Annual Brain Tumor Awareness Day Conference is being held at the NYT School of Medicine, and one session is titled "Cell Phones and Brain Tumors." Their press release says "Recent studies project that nearly one million people in the United States are walking around with a brain tumor and don't even know it."
As part of the day, free MRI scans will be given to those who register for the conference.
