What should i do

I saw a post similar to what I’m about to ask from like 3 days ago but I have different questions. So my period has been here for a long time too (like 2 and a half weeks) and I was going to tell somebody if it continued. But I noticed it started to slow down last night and this morning I woke up and it seems just like any other last day of my period where it’s mostly just brown old blood. My period was irregular this month and started like a week before it should. I think it was just irregular this month but I really don’t know. Should I say something even though I’m pretty sure it’s stopping?

Hello, Anon.

Thank for writing.

Occasionally, a woman's period can be off - early or late, a change in flow or duration. Many things can impact the menstrual cycle, stress, a change in body chemistry, illness, etc. Irregularity is not uncommon for teenage girls also. It's usually nothing to worry about. If you feel fine otherwise, you can wait and see what happens next month. If it happens again or keeps happening it's a good idea to check-in with your doctor. If it would make you feel better to check in with the doctor (or nurse) now, for peace of mind, that's up to you. It seems like your period has ended, from what you say.
