For the benefit of our readers, carcinoid tumors are a type of cancer that can grow in many parts of the body including the lungs, colon, stomach or intestines.
The exact cause is not known. Cancer, in general, occurs when cells multiply due to changes in DNA and the unhealthy cells begin to divide and spread.
Have you been diagnosed with this kind of cancer, Anon? Do you have a treatment plan?
