My period has been here for 2 more days than normal. It’s getting me stressed. I’ve never ever had sex, I’m a complete virgin but I’m worried that somehow I’m pregnant. My period is still here and I want an explanation. I can’t be pregnant right?

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing!

A period indicates a woman is not pregnant, not that she is. You can't be pregnant. Our cycles can change randomly - a period that's a bit longer than usual is nothing to worry about. Our periods will change throughout our fertile lives.
