Is this pain sudden or something caused by an injury? If what you are doing at home is not helping, an evaluation by a doctor is needed. Treatment will depend on what is causing the pain. This is something we cannot know. It could be many things, a neck strain, pinched nerve, muscle spasm, or other serious medical condition.
