I missed the two pills before my placebo pills on my BC pack. I didn't make them up. Started my period 2 days earlier than normal; obviously bc I skipped two. Had unprotected sex the next Sunday (husband pulled out, ejaculated, then we kept going). What are my chances of pregnancy?

Hello Anonymous,

You should have been protected if you took a daily active pill at the same time each day once you started the new pack.

HELP!

So I am in the middle of my birth control pack, missed two pills in the beginning of it, and then missed three pills in a row these past few days AND had unprotected sex last night. I'm pretty sure I was ovulating during this time. How great are the chances that I'm pregnant? I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 28 with a great job and we want kids so it's not the end of the world if I am pregnant. How soon can I test???

Thanks!

Carly

Hello Carly,

Missing more than one active dose, not making up for it, and not using backup protection during intercourse carries a good chance for becoming pregnant.

If you do not have any bleeding during your week of inactive pills, then test for pregnancy.

Thanks Maryann!

So the day I posted that I actually started withdraw bleeding but stopped after the third day. Could I still be pregnant even though I experienced withdrawal??

Thanks,

Carly

Hi Carly,

I doubt that you would be pregnant if you had withdrawal bleeding that lasted for three days.

To be safe, you may want to take a home pregnancy test before starting a new pack.

Hello,
I currently take continuous monophasic birth control so I have not had a period since August as I never take placebo pills (per Dr. order). I missed 2 days (Thursday and Friday) and doubled up when I noticed for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday morning I had unprotected sex and I felt uneasy about it so Monday morning I used Plan-B. Do you think I am pretty well safeguarded against pregnancy even with the 2 day slip? Thanks for any input!

Hello. I missed my pills on 1-4 of march. Had my period on march 3-7, (I didn't take my sugar pills) then I missed march 12, 13 and 16th pills. We had unprotected sex the day my app says I ovulate. I missed the pill the day after. I don't start my next period until march 31st but am scared to take a test due to being disappointed. Not sure if it's even worth testing or not.
