Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Are you taking a vitamin E supplement for a specific reason?

It is not like a medication, such as an antibiotic or pain reliever, that you would expect to see specific results in a set amount of time.

Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin and is best absorbed when taken with a meal containing some fat. It is an antioxidant, plays a role in immune function, and regulates gene expression. Naturally occurring vitamin E exists in eight different chemical forms. Most vitamin E supplements contain only one type.

Spinach, almonds, avocados, wheat germ, olive oil and sunflower oil are good natural sources of vitamin E.

Regards,
Maryann
