Diagnosed with hyperthyroidism several years ago

First doctor just said we are going to watch it, then later put in Methimazole 5MG once a day, at first makes me feel better then later feel like having out of body experience. Then i'am off again (of the RX) thyroid's back in range, then couple of months later out of range again, what I don't understand is what causes the on and off again, I have thyroid nodules could this be the cause, i'am anxious, sad, and not able to get to goal weight, by hyperthyrodism does not always cause me to lose weight I think I gain,

Hi Blondie - It's hard to tell from your comments whether you have continually been under a doctor's care or not. Your treatment and your response to that treatment needs to be constantly monitored, with adjustments made as needed. You may need to try a different medication, or a different treatment method. I'am under a doctors care have been every since the thyroid problems began, I am now seeing a specialist and hoping we can get to the root of my problems.
