Hi, I'm 23 years old lady and I'm still a virgin. I have a bf and we've been together for more than 4 years. We never had 'real' penetration or sexual intercourse (saving it for the marriage). But today we made out and he only put his tip into me (only like half an inch to an inch) but did not cum in me. I am just a little concerned and went online to search for answers, and some people even mentioned that with what i've done, i'm actually not a virgin anymore! but no pain no blood flow happened.

Anyway, my question is, will i get pregnant this way? isit really true that if sperm was only near the vagina, i will get pregnant?

only supportive and real answers please.. i know i shud've used contraception, but it was our first time, and we didn't really planned for it to happen.

thanks..

Hi. Thank you for your response. But I really want to know if i could pregnant while im still a virgin?... i hardly play sports ... and i dont aswell recall getting into any such accidents in which there might be a possibility of tearing my hymen. Just nearly a week ago i was with my boyfriend, it was quite unplanned but we slightly got carried away and he was rubbing his penis over my vagina. He did not ejaculate but there may be a possibility of him Pre-coming.
Do you think there is a possibility of me getting pregnant while my hymen is still intact?

Hi Jeniffer,

Yes, there is a possibility of becoming pregnant while your hymen is still intact. Women's hymens have different levels of being "intact", and as such, the vaginal opening can be wide enough for a penis to be inserted while the hymen is still "intact". Also, if your hymen is no longer intact after playing sports, this does not increase your risk of pregnancy.

In other words: your hymen does not have anything to do with your chances of becoming pregnant.

In order to have a possibility of pregnancy, your boyfriend's sperm would need to be on/near/inside your vagina. If your boyfriend ejaculates anywhere on/near/inside your vagina without protection, there is a possibility of pregnancy. Your hymen may or may not be intact; it is irrelevant...what is relevant is the sexual activity.

Does that all make sense?

When a man's penis becomes erect, there is fluid called "pre-ejaculatory fluid" on the tip. Just a few drops. Most of the time, this fluid does not contain any sperm, but there is a chance that it could. There is also a chance that your boyfriend ejaculates without meaning to, and he may not be able to move physically away from your vagina quick enough (depending on the position you two are in), and I would hate for you to be worried in the future.

To have the most fun, be intimate with your boyfriend, and not worry about possible pregnancy...the most reliable and "safer" choice would to be for him to wear a condom, even if you aren't having sex. That way, you two are able to rub genitals without fear of pregnancy.

Hope that helps...please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Please someone help me, I'm really scared.
My boyfriend put his tip inside me using a condom BUT before that I had gotten it wrong and put it backwards to then put it correctly. He stayed inside me less than 5 seconds AND NEVER CAME
I TOOK THE POSTDAY PILL RIGHT AFTER just to make sure.
We've been grinding a lot after that with clothes on, but I'm really scared.

Okay, so he had a condom on but not quite right but he wasn't in all the way and didn't ejaculate? If I got that right, then you cannot become pregnant from that interaction.

Since you are "grinding" a lot, I suggest you decide what kind of birth control you want to use long term and start using it now so when the moment gets the better of you again, you will not be in fear of being pregnant. If you go to a Planned Parenthood http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ or your health care provider, you can get the sex education you need along with help in deciding what kind of birth control is best for you and your situation.

Stop worrying now, take control of your sex life, and good luck. Thank you for writing.
