Sharon, your experience sounds very much like mine minus the nausea and vomiting. My dr didn't advise me to take it easy but I did that on my own for a few days after the procedure. I did find that bleeding and discharge increased with activity. My procedure was back in August 2009, my first post procedure period was awful - heavy bleeding, clotting, etc. - a lot like after giving birth. Over the months, they have progressively improved. The length of my periods haven't reduced (I also have 5-7 days) but the flow has reduced to just spotting. The first couple of months you may be questioning yourself - why did I do this!?!?... but it will get better, it did for me. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the results I gained from doing the procedure.
