I had my procedure done Jan 2008.It was so painful I cried they only gave me one valium and a pain shot, that didn't work. The first day after I was in bed all day. The first period after was HELL and the next 7 weren't much better. By 6 mos out my cramps weren't as bad and I didn't bleed as much after the first day. But I still wasn't happy with it. I went back for my checkup at that time and he basically said Oh well for some it is better and others its not. And I could go back to my GP to get my annuals. So I was just a statistic for him and since it really didn't do what it was suppose to do then he was done with me.
Anyways it has been a year and a half, and now since may I have been having a period every two weeks. And heavy at times. And Oh yeah the nasty cramping. As much pain as that procedure was I am not sure if I could do it again. I am going to a new Gyno at the end of this month so hopefully she will help me. Of course my deductible is outrageous now so who knows.
