I had cryoablation done in February due to extremely painful cycles that made it impossible to live a normal life during the days prior. The periods were quite heavy too, but the pain was what made up my mind to get it done. I was at the point where I couldn't function during that time of the month and had to schedule activities around it.
There was some cramping after the procedure, which was relieved by an injection before I left the doctor's office. If I remember correctly, I was prescribed some vicoden which I never filled, bc after a good nap and some ibuprofens, the pain had subsided. The next day I was back to work. I noticed over the months that my cycles were lighter and shorter. Most of all, I was pain free!
