I Just had Her Option done July 7th. My Dr. gave me a vicadin to take one hour before, a ibuorofen to be taken 2 hours before the procedure, and one phenergan for nausea. I was also given a shot when I arrived at the office. Really the procedure was not painful at all, just a little discomfort, and I think that was only because my bladder was full. After the procedure, I did experience sever cramping for about 30 min, and then thought I was going to loose my breakfast. It quicly passed, and Ii I was just extremely tired from all the meds. I went home, never took any pain medication, felt no pain, just slept the medication off. Got up the next day, started a new job, and was just a little tired, no pain.
The watery discharge is lighting up, almost gone. I was told not to use tampons, but during the day, I cannot stand pads so I have used tampons. As soon as I get home I only have to use a thin panty liner.
I am praying I will not have that horrible period I have read from past postings. My procedure is was only 11 days ago, but so far so good. I will keep you al posted.
