I am new to this site. I had the heroption cryoablation procedure done in June of 2005. For the first couple of years my periods were very light and short. I was able to use panty liners and lite tampons for the 3-4 day time frame. I was thrilled. However, within the last year, my cycle is changing. I have had cycles that the lite tampon is not enough. At the moment I am on my 16th day of flow. This is weird.
The recent shift to regular tampons is better than the super plus tampons and maxi pad backups I had to use prior to the surgery. I am just worried that I am on a road that will lead me back to that state. I do not want to go there.
Yes, I have a call into my gyn and am waiting for a return call.
Any one out there who this far into their post-procedure experience that can give some insight?
