My friend and fellow postpartum depression (PPD) health advocate Katherine Stone has started a bookstore challenge in response to the dearth of books on PPD in many bookstores. It's not that there aren't plenty of wonderful books and other resources on postpartum depression, it's that many bookstores don't feel that it's an important enough topic to devote a space on a shelf too.
Sad but true.
