Do you have a Preemie?

Do you have a baby that was born prematurely? My son was born at 33 weeks (7 weeks early), and he spent 2 weeks in the NICU, until he reached 5 pounds (he was born at 4 pounds). Luckily, everything was and is fine, except he is by far the smallest little guy. The doctors say it will take him a few years to "catch up". I realize I don't know what that means...when he is 2 years old, will he move from 5th percentile to 50th percentile in weight and height on his 2nd birthday? (ha), or that it won't be as noticeable that he is smaller than the other 2 year olds? Just curious if you know what "catching up" means. I would love to talk with anyone who has a preemie!
