Hello,

As you may be aware or for those that are unaware - I have breast cancer.

Four weeks ago, we were planning our winter holiday to New Zealand but alas, breast cancer creeped into our lives.

As of today's date, I have had a left breast mastectomy and 14 lymph nodes removed. Cancer was found in 6 of my lymph nodes and left breast at a size larger than 5 cms. This now classes me at a Grade 3 with 50% chance of surviving this blooming disease.

In the next few weeks I will be made aware if it has metastasized and I will be commencing chemotherapy.

My introduction to breast cancer was discovered by accident with NO SYMPTOMS.

Please, please ladies remain vigilant and check your breasts every month!!!! This may safe your lives....
