As is always the case it seems with the news, once you find one story, you'll find another that seems to offer different information. Out of the BBC today, some scientists are testing the effects of a hayfever drug on Alzheimer's.

According to the article the drug "significantly improves" symptoms in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease, research suggests."

Do you know someone who has Alzheimer's? How are tackling some of the challenges that come with the condition?

My husband recently lost a favorite uncle to Alzheimer's, but his condition developed rapidly and he was gone so quickly. My daughter's Godmother lost her mother to the disease, but hers was a heart-breaking battle over several years. Because she lived nearby, and our families are very close, it was hard for us to witness her deterioration.
