I would guess that Britney suffered from PPD at one point, but now her illness has evolved into something even more complex. She's been allowed to remain ill for far too long -- people close to her seem to be content simply watching her like the rest of us. It's so very sad. I'm frankly amazed that she's still alive. Since Britney's issue related to her behavior started when her babies were born, I feel most strongly that she is suffering from PPD. I know that young women are watching her case closely from conversations I have had with them. As always, they will try and diagnose her with Bipolar. The reason the statistics are so low on PPD and PPP is because women continue to be diagnosed with Bipolar instead being treated for the underlying reproductive endocrine issues that cause a wide range of symptoms which are duplicated in the diagnosis of Bipolar. I wish someone would suggest she get her hormone levels check so we don't have to continue to watch her be the object of so much negative press. Its very sad to see her being treated so poorly. I am sure she could use some therapy at this point in time. The tide is about to change. Be Well.
