and the final re-post from my blog about being diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia: So now I have a diagnosis, and have found out what it is. But what does it mean for me personally? I am fairly sick right now, so I thought I would add a series of posts that I originally published on my personal blog. The posts were entitled "Redefining Myself" because that has had a lot to do with this journey. So far, I have had to deal with the emergency room twice with this disease/disorder and found that since it is a rare disease, I had to do a lot of advocacy and education. Luckily, CARES, which is the support organization for this sent me an emergency card that details my special needs. It has been 5 weeks since my diagnosis.
