For the past couple of months I have had daily dizziness, especially when I get up and move around. So I went to the doctor and had my thyroid and iron levels checked and they are fine.
So now I am a bit stumped as to what it could be?

TUESDAY, May 27 (HealthDay News) -- The best treatment for vertigo is the easiest and quickest one, according to a new American Academy of Neurology guideline.
The guideline says many cases of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo -- an inner ear disorder that's a common cause of dizziness -- can be treated using a simple series of head and body movements performed by a doctor or therapist while the patient is seated on a bed or table.

MONDAY, May 26 (HealthDay News) -- What would you do if you suddenly became dizzy and had trouble seeing? Watch and wait? Call 911?
Most Americans don't act on warning signs of stroke, including sudden dizziness or loss of balance or coordination and loss of vision in one or both eyes. Yet experts say early treatment could avoid devastating consequences, including death and disability.
A study presented at a recent American Stroke Association meeting found more than half of people experiencing stroke symptoms don't seek treatment.

WEDNESDAY, April 30 (HealthDay News) -- Patients with mild Alzheimer's disease who took 800 milligrams of the drug tarenflurbil twice a day had less decline in functional ability than those who took a placebo, according to a British phase II trial.
The findings support phase III studies of the drug at this dose, the researchers said. Tarenflurbil reduces production of 42-amino-acid peptide, which is believed to initiate brain damage characteristic of Alzheimer's disease. Previous research had found the drug prevented learning and memory defects in mice with Alzheimer's disease.

Digitek-brand digoxin heart tablets are being recalled because of a potential safety risk, says the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Some tablets may be double the appropriate thickness and contain twice the approved level of active ingredient, United Press International reported.
The products are made by Actavis Totowa LLC and distributed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., under a "Bertek" label and by UDL Laboratories, Inc. under a "UDL" label.

I was recently contacted by a high school student named Ashley clear across the country who asked if she could interview me for a high school project. She had chosen to write about Postpartum Depression with the hopes of educating others on how devastating and misunderstood it is. Ashley found me when she came upon this blog and I was so thrilled and honored to help her out. Below are her questions to me and my responses during the interview.
What was your initial reaction to finding out you had Postpartum Depression, how did it impact your life?
