It’s a gray and dreary day in Michigan. For all of you lovers of Fall this is why I hate it. Blah, Blah, Blah.

Where is the sun? There is something good about today though, it is my brother’s birthday.

An icy reception from someone can literally make you cold!

Ever been to a party, or been at work or some kind of function and you get the cold shoulder from someone, or a group?

It turns out that this kind of reception can make you feel that the temperature is 5 degrees fahrenheit colder than it actually is, as well as craving a hot drink!

Our psychological response to being isolated or excluded can immediately impact how we physically feel.

“Support is anything that reduces stress.” That statement was one of the most compelling descriptions of support I had ever heard (Joan Dayger Behn, Ph.D.)

Should I wear a bra all the time?

I know this sounds like a really odd question but when I was growing up, wearing a bra all the time (including in bed) was considered unhealthy. I'm not even sure why!

Now that I have breastfed several children and am a grown woman, I read that it's actually good for breast support and to keep breasts as, well, perky as possible!

I tend to be more comfortable with as much support as possible and tend to always wear a bra (cute ones!)unless I am in the shower -or fooling around but I won't realy go there :)

Is this ok? Why would it not be?

Do women compete against each other, more than support each other?

I saw that the Williams' sisters were up against each other in today's Wimbledon finals. Venus beat her sister Serena in two sets.

After, she talked about making sure to not celebrate too loudly or make a huge fuss, bearing in mind that her win meant her sister's loss. Their Mom watched but their Dad flew back to the States rather than watch his two daughters fight it out on Center Court! In concession, Serena said she was happy for her sister and at least one of them won!
