I have exercise enduced asthma. My triggers are exercise, smoke, and things I am allergic to like dust, trees, grass, etc. Recently I have been noticing when I run I get hives.
Basically I was wondering if the two are connected, am I allergic to exercise?

My neighbor's daughter has "fluid in her lungs", and I don't know what that means! Is it a chronic condition or disease, or "just" an infection? How long does it last, and how is it treated? Is this common?

Have you had your home tested for this odorless gas?
We have a new home and tested in our walk-out level and our levels are higher than we would like. We have to have a pipe that leads to the outside of our home in order to circumvent this problem.

Can you help me understand the differences between a cold virus and flu virus? And, when should I go to the doctor or just treat it at home? I was trying to look up my symptoms, and got confused, and also saw there was a third possibility: NSV (non specific virus). What exactly is that?!
Thanks!

Have SARS and bird flu been eradicated?
I remember at one time (a few years ago) when it was all that health news reports talked about!
Are we still at risk?

Back to school season is almost here and sadly, we're heading for summer's end and into autumnal weather in the next couple of months.
Last year I neglected to get a flu shot and paid a heavy price. I know the flu shot is no guarantee and only covers a few of the strains of flu, but it still helps.
I'm wondering when is the bext time to get a flu shot? Next month? October? November?

I am wondering if pills are better for allergies or are sprays like Flonasse or Nasonex?
Has anyone tried both kinds of allergy relief and found one better than the other?

My friend has been sick for the past year, coughing, chest pains, the typical cold and flue symptoms, very very tired, and totally out of it, at first I thought she may have Hep, but being in the dental field, we were immunized for it,she finally went to the doctors 2 months ago, and they took a chest x-ray, she was told she had walking pnemonia and she one course of one brand of antibiotic, and a different kind, her symptoms were improved but they returned, she went back for another chest x-ray and the doctor told her she has scars from TB showing up on her lungs, and he wants her to see the

I heard that Flu Mist can help shorten the length of time a person has flu symptoms, or lessens the severity of symptoms (does not cure/prevent flu). Is this true?
Is there something similar to help with cold symptoms, right when you start to feel like you may be getting sick? I know there are tons of cold remedy medicines at the pharmacy, and most of the ingredients make me feel worse than the cold itself, and they do nothing to help the cold go away quicker.

Since moving to another state, I have been suffering from seasonal allergies. This is nothing new to me, during the winter time, and now I am wondering if I have year-round seasonal allergies (sounds like an oxymoron!), or if there is something else I am missing/not telling my doctor?
