My daughter asked me this question that I thought I'd pose to you:
Can you predict ahead of time who would have postpartum depression? Is this an inherited disease, or something no one knows the cause of?

In the last dozen years, my husband and I have moved from Austin to Phoenix to Washington, D.C. to Atlanta to Kansas City, and we are getting ready for a move back to Texas. While I love getting to know new cities, I've just begun to realize the toll that so much moving creates.

What is cheating?
Is it sex? Or sneaky, sexy emails to an old flame or co-worker? Paying for a lap dance at a strip club? Kissing? Omission of facts - like who was really at the bar when you had drinks with the girls or guys?
What constitutes cheating in a relationship, to you?

Whether you are caring for babies and children, or you are caring for your parents or older relatives, many caregivers suffer from caregiver stress.
The stress can be financial, emotional, physical or a combination of many factors. Both men and women suffer from this kind of stress, but women tend to suffer caregiver stress more, but that may be because women tend to BE caregivers more often.
Here is information about caregiver stress. http://www.4woman.gov/faq/caregiver.cfm#...

Tomorrow sees the 7th anniversary of the attacks on America on September 11th, 2001.
What are your feelings?
Do you feel the same away about our political situation now, as you did then?
Did you lose someone you know or love or experience anxiety or depression as a result of this terrible day in American history?
Personally, I'm always sad on this day. And very reflective. I didn't lose anyone I loved or even knew but I feel for those who did. I also hope those who continue to suffer physical illnesses as a result get finality (ie; a cure) to their health problems.

It’s known as Sally D and Magic Mint, and is said to be the world’s most potent hallucinogenic herb.
Salvia -- used originally by Mazatec shamans in its native Oaxaca, Mexico, is related to mint and because of its ability to induce feelings of relaxation, has become twice as prevalent as LSD and nearly as popular as Ecstasy. One user described the experience with the drug as a masseuse having rubbed out the knots in his psyche. And because of this popularity, one lawmaker in Texas is trying to have the drug banned, saying it’s dangerous.

I have heard of pet-therapy, music-therapy, equine-therapy (in addition to all of the more "traditional" or "well-known" therapy and counseling), but have you ever heard of horticultural-therapy? Does it work? How does it work?

I wondered if anyone has sought acupuncture as a means of helping alleviate moods swings and irritabilty. If so, can you recommend a good acupuncturist? Thank you!

Does anyone know of a trick to deal with jet lag? I have a terrible time with it when I travel and I think it actually takes me longer than the day per hour recovery time. I'll welcome any and all ideas.
