My skin is so dry after my hysterectomy. I didn't know what to do. Has anyone found any products that have worked well for you? The doctor never told me this was going to happen to me.

Hi,
I just found out about this site, and thought this might be a good place to ask a question.
I am 43 years old, and just been told I have prediabetes. I've read a lot about diabetes, and just wondering if others have been diagnosed with this, and what it exactly means?
thanks,
Veronica

There is much debate about "overscheduling" your children, whether it be for playdates, classes, etc... but what is your opinion on the appropriate number of class(es) for your child to participate in? (Given that it depends on your child's temperament, your time and financial situation, your child's interests, etc.).

I had ankle fusion surgery on my left ankle in Dec of 2007 after suffering from arthritis in my ankles. I just thought I'd see if there are others on here who have been through the same thing.

Thought this article from the New York Times would definitely qualify as a health care headache. Turns out that people who were once used to paying $20 or so for their prescriptions are paying well over $300 a month. Was wondering if anyone got a jolt the last time they paid a trip to their pharmacist. Did you notice your payment for prescriptions skyrocket?

There is some irony in that question. What is a normal family, anyway?

Earlier this week, a bill -- known as Steven's Law -- was signed into law by Arizona's governor. The bill would require insurance companies in the state to provide coverage for autism treatment. While some are hailing the passage, others say states should not mandate what insurance companies can and can't cover. Where do you stand on the issue?

Do you need a personal trainer to stay motivated when on an exercise plan? If not, what do you use as inspiration to stay on track and reach your goals? A buddy? Reward system? Something else?
