Who is your doctor?

Who's your doctor? Google says you're in Phoenix, as I am. The doctors I see here dismiss my previously diagnosed hypopituitarism, symptoms notwithstanding. I need a doctor, pronto.

Doctors

Hi hypogal, What part of the Valley do you live in? We will try to have an answer for you in the next day or two.

Finding a doctor

I was responding to Michelle's comment about her doctor picking up on the pituitary possibility. I don't know if she realizes what an astonishing scenario that is.

I live in the NW valley, but for a good doctor, I'll drive anywhere. My insurance doesn't cover NDs

My doctor

Thanks for coming to EmpowHer hypogal.

I went to Dr. Elizabeth Vliet who works out of Tucson. You can find out more about her by clicking here ...

I also went Dr. Theo Friedman. You can find out more about Dr. Friendman by watching the videos and links below.

And hypogal, how do know you have a thyroid issue? Were you diagnosed?

How I know the thyroid issue

I was diagnosed with thyroid problems right after college. Seven years later, I was diagnosed with panhypopituitarism by an internationally recognized diagnostician. He treated me, and I did well. But then I moved, and every doctor since says I don't have pituitary problems--I think because they don't know what to do about them if I have them.

So I've been reading books, studying nutritional supplements, etc. for years to keep myself going. Now I'm taking quantum bio-feedback to bring/keep my endocrine system in balance in the hopes it can heal itself.

Your comment about breast size really caught my attention. A few years back I went from a B cup to a D cup for no explicable reason.

At the same time, my TSH died. Doctors have been trying to cut my Armour thyroid dose ever since--regardless of my continuing symptoms. It's all the blood test, don't you know.

I'm following the DrLam.com program for an underactive adrenal gland. The doctor I went to (a good guy who no longer practices, for reasons unknown)ordered a saliva adrenal test, and my adrenals were pretty much shot, too. Following the program--and doing more research on my own--has brought them back somewhat. New doctor won't order the test, so I don't know where I stand now.

You'd never know any of this if you met me. I look like a bundle of energy because I simply won't go down. Maybe I don't know how to give up.

Just a heads up

I received an e-mail about a message, but the last entry is my response. Either I received two e-mails about one message or the second message didn't make it.
