Do you need a personal trainer to stay motivated when on an exercise plan? If not, what do you use as inspiration to stay on track and reach your goals? A buddy? Reward system? Something else?

The New York Times ran an article on adults and orthodontic appliances and found that "the most recent survey by the American Association of Orthodontists showed a 37 percent increase in the number of adult patients from 1994 to 2004, and the growth appears to be continuing. More than one million adults in the United States are currently in braces, according to the association, and adults now account for one of every five orthodontic patients."
Even Tom Cruise got them!
No longer are braces one of those awful teenage things.

This story fascinates me. Jill Price remembers every single second of her life as if it just happened. Every show she has seen on television, every word she has said, every action she has ever taken.
And the emotion attached is as if the actions have just happened. Time can heal none of her wounds because memories never fade and the hurt of any situation never subsides.
Fading memories are not always a bad thing. Fading memories allow us to heal after a death and move on with life. Fading memories, once so vivid, take the sting of our pain away.

I have lived with Thyroid issues all my life. I was diagnosed with Hyperthroidism as a youth. I took meds until I was 18 to keep things under control. Did not start dealing with my Thyroid again until 9 years ago. This time I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. I have been on Synthroid/ Levothyroxine for the past 9 years. I finally feel like I am starting to get things under control. I am finally being consistent @ taking my meds as suggested. On an empty stomach 1 hour before I eat. I truley believe it is making a difference.

According to one study, you can apparently stave off wrinkles by drinking cocoa. It's some of the best news I’ve heard in a long time and it comes to us straight from the Journal of Nutrition. Apparently, consuming cocoa, which contains something called flavanols, improves skin texture, mainly, its density, thickness, roughness, and scaling. According to the JON article, skin’s hydration was also improved and skin water loss is decreased.
The study shows that regular consumption of a beverage rich in flavanols can help maintain skin health by improving skin structure and function.
