I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about five years ago and have had very little relief since. I have seen numerous Drs and all say that this is Fibro. I hurt all the time and very little seems to help. Does anyone out there know what to do?

Just read this article about male menopause and it got me thinking about the men in my life. Are they going through 'male menopause'? Is your husband?

http://empowher.com/news/sexual-health/2...

What makes you think your husband has male menopause or what some experts term "andropause"? Is he less interested in sex? Is he more irritable?

Yesterday, The Associated Press reported that scientists genetically altered a human embryo for the first time. The lead in the research said the goal was to see if a gene introduced into an abnormal embryo could be traced in stem cells that are harvested from the embryo. Such work could help shed light on why abnormal embryos fail to develop, he said.

How do you feel about Mad Pride? : The parades and organizations 'celebrating' creative malajustment...

So we have all heard about Gay Pride. Black Pride. White Pride (ok, so that last one isn't so, uh, respectable but you know what I mean). We see bumper stickers saying Proud to be Irish (no DOUBT!) or proud to be... whatever you are.

Mad Pride is a growing movement of people with mental illness. They have had parades in several countries including England, Australia, the United States and Canada. They have organizational links in Africa.

What do You Think About the Birth Control Patch (Ortho-Evra) Debate?

There has been recent attention related to the birth control Ortho-Evra, known as "the patch", and some of the potential risks associated with using it.

Hormonal contraceptives, such as "the pill", "the patch", "the ring", include hormones such as estrogen, which in large doses, may have side effects including blood clots (which is why women are urged not to smoke when on hormonal contraception, as this risk increases even more). Blood clots are rare, but serious and can lead to stroke, and increased doses of estrogen are linked to increased chances of blood clots.

Would you want to remember every second of you life as if it had just happened?

This story fascinates me. Jill Price remembers every single second of her life as if it just happened. Every show she has seen on television, every word she has said, every action she has ever taken.

And the emotion attached is as if the actions have just happened. Time can heal none of her wounds because memories never fade and the hurt of any situation never subsides.

Fading memories are not always a bad thing. Fading memories allow us to heal after a death and move on with life. Fading memories, once so vivid, take the sting of our pain away.

There is some irony in that question. What is a normal family, anyway?
